Things I'm currently obsessed with.

1. Essie Perky Purple, from the Summer 09 Neons collection.


This photo is nowhere near the Neon purple awesomeness that it actually is. [Neons don't photograph well.] IRL, it's a gorgeous, deep magenta-grape color. I never want to be without it. Ever. EVER.

2. Nailpolish, in general. For most of my life, I wouldn't be caught DEAD with anything on my nails other than Essie Mademoiselle, and that was only if I was going somewhere important, like a job interview or a wedding. Even a french manicure was too busy for me. All of a sudden I won't leave the house without my nails painted perfectly. I've purchased three new nail colors in the last week alone.

3. Treesje handbags. THERE.IS.NOT.ONE.THAT.I.DON'T.LIKE. That's rare for me, as I'm not really designer-loyal and kind of all over the place. But I'd be willing to go exclusive with Treesje, since Balenciaga is currently out of my reach. I almost bought two this morning.

4. Online sample sales. Gilt, Outnet, RueLala...the list grows from there. My morning routine used to go Coffee-Facebook-Email, and now goes Coffee-Sample Sales. And the thing about online sample sales is that they NEVER end. Immediate access, 7 days a week. IT.NEVER.ENDS.

5. The color cobalt, Fall's equivalent of a neon hue. From the Alex & Ani bangles the other day, to this bag (again, Treesje!)


I can't get enough of this color. I'm considering a fall coat in the shocking blue shade.

Or maybe I should just buy that bag and kill two birds with one stone. ;)
