As for me? Not so much. Give me a ribbed tank, perfectly fitted jeans, and a KILLER heel or bag, and I'm good to go. I favor a simple bangle over a tennis bracelet, gag at anything pearl, and would sooner die than go near ribbons and bows. I'm not much for looking like I got attacked by the embellishment-fairy. The less accoutrement, the better.
So, now that Fashion Week is over...I'm going to erase everything I've seen on the runway from memory (ok, maybe not everything- I still DIE for that THUY leather moto), and share what I have on my radar for Fall:
1. Motorcycle Jackets- LOVE that this trend is here again. It's hard not to look great while wearing one, and they're pretty effortless. Tank top, jeans, moto jacket, out the door. You can even throw one over one of those frilly dresses that I just mentioned to prevent looking like a walking Hello Kitty. I've already purchased THREE.

2. Index rings- Forget the statement necklace (jeweled bibs? REALLY?). I'm on the hunt for the PERFECT statement ring that will fit my index finger. I don't know why all of a sudden I have a burning need to find/purchase/wear rings on that particular finger-- maybe because it can balance a huge, chunky piece better than the other fingers can-- but I am LOVING this look currently, and believe me...will be playing it OUT.

3. OTK boots- I'm in the market for a slouchy, rich suede grey pair, most likely due to my not being able to afford the Louboutin Monicas. I have my eye on these Colin Stuart for VS convertible boots, which can be worn over the knee, folded over, or slouched down. (Three boots in one, SCORE):

4. Scarves- Because let's be real, when the temperature drops, no one's seeing your cute top. It's boots, coat, accessories- and a killer scarf will detract from your snow-soaked shoes. I just bought a TON of white jersey and I'm making/dying a bunch as we speak (And POSSIBLY selling, stay tuned.)

5. Anything cobalt- Ok, it may be time for an intervention. You've all heard me go on and on about this trend, and I still can't stop. I will try on anything and everything if it's cobalt, it's really becoming a distraction. I currently own TWO scarves, a pair of suede heels, a sweater, and earrings in the shade. I'd LOVE to find a cobalt coat. And I'm still on the lookout for those Lela Rose booties. HELP.

6. Jeggings?- I'm unsure about this trend, and I'm sooooo going to regret posting this, I can feel it. But I practically LIVE in leggings. Love skinny jeans, hate feeling like I poured myself into my clothing...so I'm curious. Feel free to send me a pair, Jeggings people. ;)

7. Boho, knit berets- Ever since I chopped my hair off (was chest length, now CHIN length), I've been looking for ways to cover my head when I don't have the time to go through the wash-dry-iron process (I do not wash my hair everyday). I HATE squeaky-clean "Delta Nu" hair, and spend quite a bit of money in order to make my clean hair LOOK dirty when I am forced to wash it (texturizers, dry shampoo sprays, Johnathon Product Dirt, and here's a tip- spray wax). However, with this short cut, the style doesn't really sit right unless I wash and style it every single day... and frankly I can't be bothered. I can only imagine how bad it'll be once snow and the dry, static air of winter factor in. So I'll be rocking these knit saviors, at least until my extensions are put in ;)

And lastly, I need fierce pair of boots that can withstand the sleet and snow that NYC is notorious for...so if anyone has the hookup on a great knockoff of those AH-MAZING Prada wellies, hook a girl up =)
