Lips:
Lips were certainly bold, and coated in unexpected colors-- bright oranges, pinky corals, and even purple.
Hair:
Hair was either sleek and structured, or imperfectly mussed. It was all about texture this season-- whether loose and free flowing, or pulled into ponytails, buns, and chignons-- hair was roughed up and pieces were allowed to fall freely
Face:
Whether matte or dewy, skin was kept clean and flawless, as not to compete with the bold lip looks. Rosy pinks, corals, peaches, and soft beige neutrals were a common theme.
Eyes:
Eyes were given pretty, sheer washes of color, and a lot of artists opted to skip mascara entirely.
Nails:
Bright, fun hues were shown for nails - Blue, coral, metallic, even white.
Catherine Malandrino showed awesome textured nails, where manicurists used granulated sugar atop the polish to create the desired effect. Wish I could find a pic.
These were the more wearable trends. I could have included everything, but let's be real-- most of us aren't running around the city in feathered lashes and smudged mascara.
Unless you're me. ;)
