Reasons why I'm not allowed to shop without supervision.

Ok, so today I went to Bloomie's (aka "mothership"), intending to JUST EXCHANGE one Rebecca Minkoff bag for another. Even exchange. No money changing hands. In and out.


Riiiiight.

I successfully made the exchange...goodbye black MAB with gold hardware, hello black MAB with gunmetal:



I even convinced them to take off an extra 10%, since the bag was missing the strap (which, in retrospect, I no longer believe existed in the first place. Oops.)

It's then that I made my fatal error: instead of walking straight out, I decided to once-over the Marc Jacobs on the way out. No big deal since I already had on the way in, right? WRONG.

My eye has a way of ignoring things on the way in, and catching them at the VERY last second, sucking me back. Long story short, and $180 later:




I can't do anything right!
